The Amigoss’ team would like to express our gratitude for your collaboration in CRAZY HAIR WEEK two weeks ago. Thanks to all of you we can contribute with a community project to help in the research and support to those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis Australia. This year we’ll be able to raise 70AUD to help those in need.

Thank you!

As a part of the continuous improvement required by the National Quality Standard, this week we are:
– comparing aspects of educators teaching practices against the Government’s exceeding measures. If you’d like more information about the practices required to achieve exceeding please let me know
– reviewing our Health, Hygiene and Safe Food Policy.

Preschoolers

This week our preschoolers had been exploring Saturn discovering some facts of that outstanding ringed planet. To promote their fine motor skills development, they had the opportunity to participate into making some arts and crafts where they had to cut – and learn how to hold scissors- glue and color in a diverse sort of materials.

Our preschoolers, as good preschoolers, they are really active and this week they enjoyed learning about some traditional games that helped them focused and improve their following instructions skills.

Toddlers

Our babies had been exploring the see for some weeks now and it’s time to change. To finish this marine topic, some of the participated in a sensory paint experience where they created crabs and turtles using their handprints and all of the danced “Under the sea” song as a farewell to the topic.

Their interests are changing and evolving and at the moment most of them like playing with cars, trucks, those elements allow children to explore movement and they can relate them with common things they see in the streets. In order to support their interests, the following weeks, they are going to start exploring the diverse kind of vehicles and motions.
