Munch & Move is a NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity, healthy eating and reduced small screen time (e.g. watching TV or DVDs, playing on computers and small hand-held games devices). Munch & Move program training is delivered via a ‘live’ interactive webinar series. Each webinar series consists of 4 sequential modules, with each module 2 hours in length. Each series is delivered over a time frame of either 2 weeks or 4 weeks.

  • ‘This was very clear and easy to understand. The presenter was very patient and friendly’

  • ‘Very well presented and webinar delivery is great for preschools like us that are very small and in a regional area with a series of modules to get through. Thanks for having no cost associated with it – it was fantastic to have such a wealth of up to date information and access to information after the completion for no cost. Thanks again’

  • ‘The webinar was fantastic and more than I expected. I was familiar with the Munch and Move program but now feel more educated about it and ready to share with families and educators’

  • ‘Thank you to the staff at ECTARC for providing this webinar and all the useful tools to encourage Munch & Move programs and for the provision of ongoing support for future reference’

  • ‘The presenter was passionate about what she was talking about’

  • ‘The webinar was much easier for me to access due to work and family commitments. Such a great idea as opposed to a face to face workshop that adds commuting time etc’

  • ‘Very good thank you I learnt a lot not just for work but personal as well as about to be a new mother myself’

  • ‘I was impressed with the trainer’s enthusiasm and interesting spoken voice. The use of clip art and polls to mark our responses make it an interactive experience. The pace was spot on’.

  • ‘I have never attended a webinar before so was a little anxious when it started. I have found the way this program was delivered was very professional and easy to use and learn from’

  • ‘Outstanding, very helpful and certainly very useful information to further on at the centre I work in’

  • ‘I learnt so much through all the modules and I loved talking to my fellow Educators about new ideas and resources we could implement into our centre. It sparked a new interest and joy amongst the girls and this will follow onto our families’
