On Tuesday, the 13th of June at 1pm the preschoolers will have an art-therapy session! Parent are welcome to join us!
During this art-therapy session the children will work on individual artworks created from recycled materials and natural elements such as wooden branches of different sizes, seeds, leaves or pebbles. Put together with the support of the therapist they will be framed and exhibited in the centre.
We will discuss how to reuse and recycle different materials, create art work and listen to relaxing music during the session.
Through participating in this creative activity children will trigger complex cognitive processes including decision making, spontaneous expression, memory, symbolic representations, and imagination.
The aim of this session is:
- To show children beauty in nature
- To teach to work with small elements,
- To teach children to become more environmentally responsible using natural and recycled materials for their art projects
